Some ground rules.

These are set and enforced by the mastodon.stickbear.me moderators.

1. ABSOLUTELY ZERO TOLERANCE of child pornography, or discussions of minors in inappropriate and explicit manners.
2. No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, or casteism.
3. No incitement of violence or promotion of violent ideologies.
4. No content illegal in Canada, The United States, or copyrighted content that you don't own rights to.
5. No harassment, dogpiling or doxxing of other users.
6. Do not share false or misleading information that may lead to physical harm.
7. Be Decent Do not harass, insult, discriminate against, or otherwise intentionally harm other users of any kind, local or federated. Do not deliberately spread misinformation, including pseudoscience and conspiracy theories.
8. Parody and accounts intended to impersonate are not permitted.
9. Be Sentient Avoid creating advertising or bot accounts on this instance without permission. There may be exceptions, but it is best to consult with either of the administrators before going ahead.
10. Be Lawful Do not post or link to content that could get us hit with a violation of copyright. Only post personally identifiable information if you have explicit permission to do so.
11. Describe your content. Please try to describe your media posts to the best of your ability to accommodate disabilities such as blindness and deafness. If you cannot do so, there is nothing wrong with asking for help. Currently, tagging @ImageCaptionsPls@a.gup.pe is the best way to do so.
12. Cross posting (using software to post the same content on multiple social media services) is only allowed if you regularly check your account here and interact with notifications. IMPORTANT: Please do not cross post twitter retweets or quoted tweets!
13. bans, violators, etc. If you are caught violating these rules you will be informed of your violation, exactly what the violation is, and depending on the sevarity of the violation your account may be suspended or perminantly terminated with or without warning.
14. coming from another instance. If your coming over from somewhere else, due to being terminated, your account is subject to stricter review and limitations. Note that even if your account is approved, if violations come to light, from instances you left previously, your account may be terminated.
15. The password When signing up, please include the following password alongside your reason in the why you'd like to join text. woof. This ensures to us that you have indeed read and will abide by the rules set forth in this instance! make a complete sentence with the password in it if you can!
